We can tell this by this poster's colours/aesthetics, for example, the way the actors are dressed up or the quote "She's everything. He's just Ken" which contrasts our society and could show some aspects of satirical jokes. This shows that the movie is aimed at teens more than any other age group. However, the colour pallet creates some sort of innocence which could be another example of this movie being seen as childlike although the movie is about our society and life as a female. Denotation and Connotation

ADVERT ONE In this advert, the producer wants to show a body language code with the boy who looks sad and almost emotionless. This conveys to us that the quote in the advert shows that it's usual and there should be a change. Another body language code is that he's staring into the camera lenses which tells us he's asking the consumer to feel pity or maybe donate which is this company's goal. The quote "Dig toilets Not graves" also urges the audience that if they can help they can make an impact on where the donations are going. The quote is also a big contrast to our society as toilets and graves do not link together however the quote makes us wonder are more fortunate than we think which again urges the audience to help. The setting for example the hut shows that these may be places in a less developed country than where these adverts are shown.
